Takashima City in Shiga Prefecture is easily accessible from Keihanshin (Kyoto, Osaka and Kobe) and is home to a rich natural environment.
Glamping Village Shiga Imazuhama has 10 glamping tents located in where you can enjoy the nature in all four seasons.
All buildings are a high standard of facilities with campfires, dining spaces and sanitary rooms.
Please feel free to enjoy comfortable glamping.

A total of 10 glamping tents of 3 different types.
The Glamping Village features the first safari tent in the Kansai region with a swimming pool, the Connect Dome, which consists of two dome tents connected together, and a dome tent with a diameter of 7 meters.
Each glamping tent has been carefully decorated to create a luxurious and extraordinary space. All tents are equipped with individual all-weather eating areas, bathrooms, and toilets, so you can spend your time safely and comfortably.

The transparent dome in the common space is a self-service night bar. Beer, wine, highballs, lemon chuhai, and soft drinks (orange and apple juice) are available, and it is all-inclusive.

We, Glamping BBQ, provide plenty of fresh meat, seafood and vegetables, using the local ingredients of Shiga Prefecture. We offer a special Glamping BBQ featuring Omi beef steaks with some fresh local vegetables.
In addition, there is a plan called “Sudomari Plan”, where you can bring food yourself and stay without meals offered. This way, you can enjoy your original BBQ.

All buildings have individual showers, but there are also private hot spring baths with natural hot spring water. After enjoying glamping, a relaxing soak in the hot spring will refresh you.
Reservations are required for the private hot spring baths.
Fee: 40 minutes/2,000 yen (tax included)
*A separate bath tax per adult will be charged.

  • By car

    Approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from Kyoto-Higashi I.C. on the Meishin Expressway.
    From the direction of Osaka, it is convenient to use Lake Biwa West Rift Road/ Route 161 via Meishin Expressway.

    From Kyoto City: Approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes
    From Osaka: Approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes
    From Kobe City: Approximately 2 hours and 5 minutes
    From Nagoya: Approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes

  • By train

    Nearest station: 6 minutes by car after getting off at “Omi Imazu Station” of JR Kosei Line.
    If you are coming from Osaka, take the JR Kyoto Line from JR Osaka Station, get off at JR Kyoto Station, transfer to the JR Kosei Line, and get off at Omi Imazu Station.

  • Free shuttle service from Omi Imazu Station

    Reservation is required for our free transportation service. Please make sure to let us know at least 3 days in advance whether you need a free pick-up or not
    The Pick-up time is at 14:40 at Omi Imazu Station. Please note that we cannot accept reservations for other times.
    In some cases, there is a chance that we need to share a ride.

    Please note that we cannot accept requests for pick-up and drop-off on the day of the tour.
