Shirahige Shrine
Shirahige Shrine is located in the northwestern part of Lake Biwa and is called “Itsukushima of Omi”.
It is said to be the oldest shrine in Omi and the head shrine of all Shirahige shrines in Japan.
In recent years, it has become famous as a power spot and is one of the representative spots in Takashima City.
Many people visit here.
The sky that changes color with the hour and the Otorii (Grand Gate) standing in the middle of the lake are wonderful sights that can only be seen here.
